What a crazy day!!
Well.... I am glad to be sitting down in my comfies (comfy clothes) and relaxing! We have had a busy day full of events. Happy and absolutely stupid as well.
Our morning started off with getting up late... and thats never good, well.. as we are walking out the door, I hear Darrell say "What, AGAIN!" Yeah so for the 2nd time in 4 days our car window has been hit by someone who obviously needs a little kick. This time it was my car. We just got Darrells van back from the shop yesterday. - ok so here is where I want to put in that We are actually not as mad as we were, but we are praying that God will really prick this persons conscience. Did I mention we are the only ones being hit? Ok.. so moving on!
Next I went and practiced with our church organist for a music special for our Christmas Cantata Sunday. WOW is that going to be amazing when we get it all worked out! Cant wait!
Then we drove 2 of our great teens to deliver Thanksgiving Boxes to familys in need of a little added blessing.
Then the fun family part of the day, we celebrated Darrells Grandpas 96th Bday! It was great to see all the family and friends around. I think that all of Grandpa Cs' children where there. And just about all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. That was so fun to see the joy that it brought him. With being in the nursing home, even though we all try to visit, I know he is still lonely. He really is a social bug! When I get pics of this I will have to post them!
I am so blessed to be married into a godly family heritage. Great grandpa is such a wonderful christian man. I praise the Lord for the testimony that he is!
Well that is our day, happy that it ended on a much better note than it started!

Back from the Bigger sky...
Well I am back from the warmth of the south! And did I mention how amazing it is to see sky that has NO CLOUDS!! Wow!!
Had a great time with our dear friends, I prayed that I would be a blessing to them and I think that I came back with the biggest blessing!
I miss them already.
Well I am really zonked but I wanted to mention a family before I close. I met someone on the plane at my connection in Detroit and I just want you to pray for them, I didn't get permission to post names, but I would like for you all to be praying.. their son has some really hard physical tests on Monday. So just keep them in your prayers... if I get an update or am allowed to share more I will.
God is so good all the time. As I was leaving the airport I was really missing the dear friends I had spent the week with. They were headed to FL and we wont be seeng them for a while.Trying to get my mind off of it I started reading and came across a saying that I really liked so I will leave you with that tonight.
"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying good bye so hard"
What a blessing you are, we love you!

Can't wait to be where its warm!!
I am so excited!! Plane is leaving tomorrow. I am going to miss my baby and my sweet husband, but I know this will be a great break. Please pray that I will be a blessing to the friends that I am visiting with. They are a dear couple to us, and have been such a spiritual encouragement to my life this year. Pray that I may be the same. Well I still need to clean, do laundry, lay out lists for daddy, (and outfits so that my girl doesn't go out of the house looking like Punky Brewster - totally dated myself! LOL), and finally pack my bags! Cant wait to post pictures, Amanda.. wish I was coming to Houston so I could hold that beautiful little girl!! She is the cutest thing! Definitely need to put that in future plans.
I am going to leave with my verses for the week.
" I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove that which is the good, acceptable and perfect will of God." Rom. 12:1-2

Faith...
What is the definition of Faith?
Here are some definitions from Websters
1. Belief and trust in and loyalty to God
2. Firm belief in something for which there is no proof
3. Complete Trust.
Lets look at the last one, Complete Trust. Wow! How convicting. Lets think of a verse for a minute. The one that came to mind as I was reading the definitions was "For without FAITH it is impossible to please God." So lets read it this way "For without Complete Trust, it is impossible to please God." You have no idea how many times I have tossed between thoughts of more children, or no more children. I realized that so much of my battle was brought on by what everyone else would say such as " Well yes, God knows what he is doing, but... He did give you a brain!" My question is when does FAITH or Complete trust change? My God knows what I can handle, and where is it said to be stupid to have this Faith. Is it now again a Firm Belief in something of which you have no proof? I have firmly come to the conclusion that yes my body has been through a lot, yes I am and should be happy with the Child the Lord has given me to raise, happy that I have a wonderful husband...and yes I am even happy that the Lord gave me 4 opportunities to carry His children for such a time as this. 4 Opportunities to see Christ in a new and wonderful way. Opportunities of growth in my walk with Christ. I would not bring any of them back. I would have done nothing different. And you know, it takes Faith to declare this in such a public way, but I will continue to have faith that God knows what he is doing period. I will trust Him with every part of my future. What has given me this assurance? FAITH. Faith that God knows what He is doing, knows what is best for me. Knows what is best for all of us.
To my dear friend who is struggling with her loss...I am praying for you and I hope that all that the Lord has done in my heart ,He will use to encourage yours. Please , if you need anything just email!
May I encourage you to seek the Lord for the wisdom you need. Look to His word, His promises. Block out the world and well meaning friends and look only to Him and his word. You will be Blessed beyond measure , with joy unspeakable and full of glory!
